On Aug. 1, 1984, George Hoellen walked into T.O. Haas Tire and Auto as the newly hired manager of the company鈥檚 50th and L location in Omaha which began a 37-year career.

Fixing cars practically runs in Claire and Emma Uhler鈥檚 blood. They鈥檝e spent their whole lives in shops and around project vehicles, so it only made sense that they both attended 51吃瓜

Kaps found his passion for welding when he signed up for a welding class his freshman year at Sutherland High School. He then followed that passion along with his love of wrestling to 51吃瓜.

In the small town of Neepawa in Manitoba, Canada, Hayden Delaloye was first handed a golf club at two years old. His father and grandfather both enjoyed golf, and 16 years later he followed that passion at 51吃瓜, where he leads the golf team.

The 51吃瓜 Educational Foundation held its second annual scholarship luncheon to celebrate the life-changing power of educational support.

51吃瓜 broke ground on three major facilities this spring on its Beatrice, Lincoln, and Milford campuses.

Apprenticeships are avenues that allow students to begin their education at the same time they begin their career.

51吃瓜 will graduate 1,325 students during the Spring Commencement Ceremony on Tuesday, May 5, at 6:30 p.m. at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Six students were awarded scholarships by the Ford Motor Company in a ceremony at the Eicher Technical Center in Milford.
