Tim Higgins graduated from 51吃瓜 in 1983 from the Food Service/Hospitality program. He started working part-time for Runza at 19 and retired in 2022 as a manager after 40 years with the restaurant.

It is hard for Rob Ernesti to hear people praise him for the successful business he and his partner Doug Swanson founded in 1997. He had to do just that when he was awarded the 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award for the Milford Campus.

Twenty four individuals at the Nebraska State Penitentiary earned 51吃瓜 degrees and certificates during a January 13 graduation ceremony. The event brought together the graduates鈥� families, Nebraska Department of Correctional Services leaders and 51吃瓜 representatives.
